This notice explains how Mike Osman Audio handles the information you send when you enquire about a booking. Last updated 14 October 2026.
Who we are
Mike Osman Audio is a touring live sound engineering business based in the UK and Australia. For any privacy question, email enquiry@mikeosmanaudio.com.
What we collect
If you use the enquiry form, we receive what you enter: your name, email address, artist or production, dates, role, location and message. If you email us directly, we receive your email address and whatever you include in the message. Please do not send sensitive personal information.
Why we use it
We use your details only to answer your enquiry and arrange a booking. Our legal basis (UK and EU GDPR) is your consent, given by ticking the checkbox, or, for emails you send us directly, our legitimate interest in replying. You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing enquiry@mikeosmanaudio.com.
Anonymous visit counts help us see how the site is used, under legitimate interest.
Who handles it
Form submissions go through Web3Forms (a form service) to our email provider. Web3Forms may use spam-filtering services that see your IP address and email address. These providers, and the AI tools below, may process your details overseas, including in India, the United States and the EU. By sending an enquiry you understand this. We never sell your details or use them for marketing.
Cloudflare handles anonymous visit counts.
Cookies, tracking and third-party content
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It uses no cookies, does not track you across sites and builds no visitor profiles. It records pages viewed, country, device type and referring site.
The website may include or link to content from other services, such as videos, preview images and thumbnails, social media accounts and feeds, and press articles. When your browser loads that content, or when you follow a link to it, the other service may receive your IP address and other technical information, and may set its own cookies. We do not control this. Each of those services has its own privacy policy, and we encourage you to read it.
Videos on this website play from YouTube using its privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). The video player is not loaded until you press play, although video thumbnails are loaded from YouTube when the page opens. When you play a video, YouTube may receive your IP address and other technical information and may set cookies.
Use of AI
Parts of this website’s text and code were prepared with the assistance of AI tools, then reviewed, reworked, reworded and amended with a human in the loop. No images were created with AI. Our email provider’s built-in AI features may process email content under its own terms. AI tools may sometimes help draft or summarise replies, so details in an enquiry could be processed by them. We do not use your details to train AI models or to make decisions about people.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 2 years, then delete them. Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax law requires (typically 5 to 7 years). Web3Forms may keep copies or logs for a limited time under its own policy. You can ask us to delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it or delete it by emailing enquiry@mikeosmanaudio.com. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to your local regulator, such as the Information Commissioner’s Office (UK), the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, or your national data protection authority in the EU.
